Sabudana Vada. Sabudana vada is popular during fasting, but it is one of the favourite and tasty snack to each and everyone. Sabudana vada, one of my favorite fasting snacks is a savory and mildly sweet patty featuring tapioca pearls (sago), potatoes, peanuts and herbs.

These are my husband’s absolute favorite fasting snacks. Sabudana vada is a crispy and delightful maharashtrian sabudana vada recipe is made with sago, mashed potatoes, roasted peanuts and seasonings. Sabudana vada (also known as sabakki vada, sugubiyyam vadalu, javvarisi vadai) is a crispy fried maharashtrian snack made using tapioca pearls (sago), boiled potatoes herbs, and mild spices.

Sabudana vada is a crispy delicious snack made by deep frying spiced sabudana and potato cutlets. It’s a great snack on a rainy day with a cup of hot chai while listening to bollywood jams or watching. It has been around since world war ii.

Crispy, golden brown, and crunchy these vadas are a delight to eat with a cup of hot ginger tea and coriander chutney as a tea time snack.
